3D Graphic Designer

This job is part of an extremely fast paced work environment in which I create 3D models for merchandise of a very wide variety of characters and objects from popular media licenses. This requires making custom materials for textures and compile renders and item information into blueprints which are used for production.
I communicate with the the design team, the sales team, the international production team, and the international vendors and guide the vendors through well thought out visual and textual instruction to maintain as much quality as possible throughout the pre-production process and come up with solutions to make the process easier and more efficient.
The position requires you to be able to constantly change focuses and make sudden revisions on extremely short timelines. Which takes a lot of organizational ability and patience.
I am also responsible for controlling the quality of the 3D team's projects from design to production, which often requires me to make revisions for the project to be completed with all of the company policies, licensing, legal requirements, and production ability and quality in mind.
Internship - 3D/Digital Artist
University of Wyoming - Shell 3D Visualization Center - Laramie, WY January 2022 to February 2023
As a 3D/digital artist intern I gained experience in using Blender, Substance Painter, Unity, Premier Pro, and After Effects. I mainly created 3D models and simple animations, and do some video editing work that contributes to a VR office walkthrough experience.
Internship - Graphic Designer
University of Wyoming Wellness Center - Laramie, WY August 2021 to December 2021
As the graphic designer for the Wellness Center, I created graphics to use in social media posts, buttons, posters, fliers, and so on. I was also tasked with creating graphics for various events for other departments that liked what I was doing.
